AEDAS MY FOOTSTEPS – DANCE MASTER CLASS SERIES

Sponsored by Aedas, Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation in collaboration with renowned New York site-specific dance company, Third Rail Projects (TRP) to present “MY FOOTSTEPS”, a choreographers development project this April.

MY FOOTSTEPS aims at reuniting our lives with the environment using dance as the basis to create site-specific choreography that celebrates the place we live in. The creative process will be filmed and used as a teaching guide in choreographing contemporary site-specific works in the future.

HONG KONG JOCKEY CLUB POINT TO POINT SITE SPECIFIC ART PROJECT - MASTER CLASS

Funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, "The Hong Kong Jockey Club Point to Point Site Specific Art Project" is a three-year project that aims to encourage young people to develop a sense of belonging to their community through art. At the same time, it celebrates the artistic talent of Hong Kong's young people with the general public by exhibiting their artworks in various public locations, such as shopping centres, parks and ferry piers.

SEEING IS BELIEVING VISUAL ARTS & FUNDRAISING PROJECT 2010

Standard Chartered Bank has supported the Seeing is Believing Visual Arts & Fundraising Project for the past five years, this project has been well received by local schools and as such has turned into an annual art education event with a large number of schools consistently taking part in it. Over 85,000 local students have learned a variety of art skills whilst donating money to support the work of ORBIS. The funds raised are used specifically to support ORBIS services in mainland China.
