Supported by the Noel Croucher Shakespeare Fund, Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation is presenting "Ms Directing", a sharing performance that includes a teachers workshop this May.
Over the past 3 months, 9 talented young actresses have received a one-to-one mentorship by YAF's professional directors to provide a stimulating selection of Shakespeare's women with a contemporary and experimental twist. Based on monologues from a selection of Shakespearean plays such as: Macbeth, Titus Andronicus, King John, Troilus and Cressida, Henry VI, Romeo and Juliet, Ms Directing brings 9 extraodinary women to life, using dance and music to seamlessly connect one lady from the other. Now is your chance to see this intriguing glimpse of Shakespeare's women.
We are now inviting school groups and amateur theatre companies to join our sharing performance and post performance teacher workshop.
